Victory Women of Vision offers an array of programs for immigrants and refugees in New Hampshire looking for support, guidance, friendship, and everything in between. New and longtime resident immigrants and refugees alike can find a place at VWV to celebrate their culture and create a home-away-from-home in New Hampshire.

VWV began as an organization centered around women. At the heart of our mission is the goal that women immigrating to New Hampshire feel empowered to stand up and speak up for themselves in their new homes. Our programs for women include Empowering Young Women to Lead Change, a course designed to educate young women in civic engagement and community activism; Young Women's Health and Self Management, a course aimed at young and teenage women to educate them in personal healthcare; and the Women's Knitting Group, a weekly program for women of all ages looking for an opportunity to socialize and connect with their community over coffee, tea, snacks, and creative knitting projects.
Please see our Events page for more information about when these programs are held.
VWV leads a course for men called Mentoring for Leadership of African Men. Aimed at men of all ages immigrating from Africa, this course educates men in civic engagement, helps them manage stress and navigate culture shock, and encourages them to build healthy relationships with their families and communities through teamwork.
Please see our Events page for more information about when these programs are held.
The goals that the youth set for themselves are at the heart of the children and youth program. You can prayerfully decide how many goals you set and when you want to accomplish them. Guidebook will be distributed to help the youth plan and accomplish their goals.
VWV offers a wide range of programs aimed at empowering New American youth in our community. We are particularly excited to announce the fall 2019 launch of our New American Youth Mentoring Program, backed by funding from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (NH DHHS). This program is designed for New Americans ages 15 to 24 who have been in the U.S. for less than five years. Participants will be matched with a trained mentor who will help guide them through the challenges of moving to a new country. Participants will also benefit from VWV’s youth curriculum, which includes programs about managing trauma and stress; empowering youth to serve as leaders of change; cross cultural training; narrative therapy and coaching; building good relations between police and youth; building civic engagement; career planning and job skills development; and job search skills.
If you or your child are interested in participating in VWV’s New American Youth Mentoring Program, please contact VWV here.
